Hello, We've added a Weblate website for the DirectAdmin backend, and Evolution skin, ready for community contributions: Sign in This site runs Weblate for localizing various software projects. translate.directadmin.com This should finally provide a centralized location for language management, and eventually we'll have an simple/automatic way for language selection without any manual downloads (possibly bundled within DA itself for each release, may take a poll on that when the time comes

Mitigation for Dirty Frag Linux local privilege escalation vulnerability
Yes another local privilege escalation vulnerability was recently publicly announced - dirtyfrag.io. Mitigation does not require server reboot, only making sure kernel modules esp4, esp6 and rxrpc are disabled. Mitigations for CopyFail linux local privilege escalation vulnerability
A new local privilege escalation vulnerability named CopyFail CVE-2026-31431 was recently disclosed. It affects almost all of the systems and allows local user to get root access on the system. The Linux distribution maintainers are busy with releasing hot-fixes. We are sharing an immediate mitigation for server administrators until we receive a fix from upstream. For Debian, Ubuntu (and other Debian) based systems, the exploitable code is in a separate kernel module. So it is enough...
